Pine Bluff Living

The locals already know it and are used to explaining why Reno is one of the greatest places to live (but seriously, check out all the articles listing Reno as a great place to live!). But do you know what is so great about living in Reno? Even more specifically, do you know why locals love calling Caughlin Ranch home?

Pine Bluff is the newest home community in Caughlin Ranch, which not only boasts all the benefits of living in the greater Reno area, but has plenty to offer residents on its own! Learn more details about the Pine Bluff community here: http://www.pinebluffreno.com/about and keep reading to see why Pine Bluff makes the perfect location to live your life.

Caughlin Ranch and Caughlin Club

Caughlin Ranch can be best described as desert-meets-urban-forest, with its 2,300 acres of thoughtfully planned communities nestled among and on top of rolling hills where mature trees vibrantly change with all four seasons. Home to families of all ages and married couples both young and old, Caughlin Ranch is a wonderful place to spend your time, even if you never leave it. With park-like grounds and 20 miles of walking/biking trails all within the community, plus shops, doctors offices, schools, and restaurants nearby, the community has everything you need. The cherry on top is the Caughlin Club, a family and athletic center in the heart of Caughlin Ranch that prides itself on its tennis court, availability of athletic classes, and kid-friendly activities and camps. Here are just some of the things the Club has to offer:

Lifestyle

No matter what you are “into,” Reno has it at the ready. The vibrant northern Nevada community lends itself to a whole host of people and experiences, meaning that you can enjoy just about anything your heart desires, pretty much all within an hour of Reno and Pine Bluff!

For the outdoor lovers, Reno and nearby Lake Tahoe (38 minutes from Pine Bluff to Truckee, 47 minutes to Incline Village, 51 to Squaw Valley, and 65 minutes to South Lake Tahoe) give you access to all the outdoor activities you can think of. Hundreds of miles of trails in the region are frequented by hikers, runners, and mountain bikers every day. The TruckeeRiverr is a favorite home of kayakers and fishermen, while Lake Tahoe is the place to go for all your boating, beach-hanging, and SUP-ing needs. With 15 golf courses in Reno alone, including Lakeridge which is only minutes from Pine Bluff, golfers feel right at home in the Great Basin. Climbers, dirt-bikers and other off-roaders, and horseback riders will all delight in the opportunities Reno has to offer them. And even if you aren’t a major outdoorsy person, you can’t help but love the beauty of our many regional parks and outdoor spaces, and the sunsets are simply to die for.

For those with (or without!) kids, Reno offers no shortage of family-friendly events all year long! Family friendly events seem to be happening every single weekend in Reno, nearly all year long. Some of the local favorites include the Great Reno Balloon Races, Hot August Nights, the Reno Rodeo, and the month-long event of Artown in July. On top of these and many other kid-friendly events in the area, you can always take your kids out for some fun at one of the many casino arcades, or take them to Wild Island for water-play in the summer and bowling all year long.

On top of all of this, Reno touts a world-class foodie scene, with countless dining options of nearly every variety. If going out on the town is your style, be sure to check the bar crawl and wine walk schedules, or catch a live music or comedy show just about any night of the week.
